GK1000 System Platform
If you work in a larger VoIP setup using symbolic addresses, a
gatekeeper would definitely be a great plus. More importantly the
gatekeeper is the key to the management of a VoIP network. For
example, VoIP gateways register at the gatekeeper so the gatekeeper
can find the right one to route your call to a specific number. A
gatekeeper can also manage the bandwidth used by clients. Currently
we grant all bandwidth requests until a predefined limit is reached.
In the future we could implement a more detailed schema.
When you decide to become an ITSP (Internet Telephony Service
provider), all you need is to install one or more TalkProGK1000 or
TalkProGK2000 and connect your TalkProGK with your VoIP network,
thus your service platform is set up. For your end user customers
who are not connecting with a PABX, they could choose to use
TalkPro’s U series, R series, or B series VoIP phones according to
his internet access types to make high quality phone calls over
public internet. For customers who are PABX users they could be
equipped with different models and quantities of TalkProGWs gateways
and start to enjoy much cheaper communication services without
changing their calling habit.
